Time Commitment: 1 Day a week on a rota basis (8:30 am start with a variable finish between 12:30-3:30 pm or ad-hoc)
Are you someone who enjoys being on the move, working in a close-knit team, and making a meaningful difference in your community? If so, our Volunteer Van Driver position could be right for you. As a Volunteer Van Driver, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our retail operations by collecting donations, delivering furniture to customers’ homes, and ensuring seamless stock movement between our shops and warehouse.
We’re seeking individuals who are not only willing to lift heavy bags and furniture but also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, making them effective team players. Our ideal candidate is someone who can work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility in their weekly commitments with good time-keeping.
We believe that everyone touched by a life-limiting condition in Gloucestershire should benefit from free hospice care. We support people to live well after diagnosis through a range of services for them and their loved ones and, when the time comes, we provide hospice at-home care, enabling them to have the choice of dying in the comfort of their own home. We also provide support to their families and loved ones/carers as well as those who are bereaved.
