Salary – £11.50 per hour
Are you looking for a temporary role in retail? You will be working in our shops or warehouse when we require emergency cover and support. Perhaps you are looking for work during the holidays or you prefer to work flexibly, with no set weekly hours. We are looking to build a pool of bank temporary staff to call on to support our busy retail function.
We require bank staff in our Warehouse Department, supporting the team with sorting donations and stock management, to help in furniture shop and office, answering the phone and dealing with queries. We also require drivers who are available to drive either our Longfield vans or the furniture van. In the Furniture Van Driver role you will be lifting heavy furniture, supported by a volunteer.
If you enjoy working fashion, retail and meeting people then perhaps you would like to provide cover in one of our many shops. Experience is desirable, however training will be provided.
Longfield is a community hospice charity, in a beautiful setting near Stroud. We believe that everyone touched by a life-limiting illness in Gloucestershire should benefit from free hospice care.
