Longfield Hospice, nr Stroud
Salary – £24.43 hourly rate
Hours – Bank nights (Monday to Sunday 10pm to 7am)
We are looking for a qualified Nurse to join our Hospice at Home team, providing care for patients with any life-limiting condition in their own homes. Ours nurses provide support throughout a 24hr period, 7days a week, 365 days a year. The aim of the role is to deliver quality palliative care by addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of patients and carers within the South Cotswold area.
Longfield is a community hospice charity, in a beautiful setting near Stroud. We believe that everyone touched by a life-limiting illness in Gloucestershire should benefit from free hospice care. We support people to live well after diagnosis through a range of day services for them and their loved ones and, when the time comes, we provide hospice at home care, enabling them to have the choice of dying in the comfort of their own home. We also provide support to their families and carers, including bereavement counselling.
