Our Volunteers

Volunteers play a crucial role at Longfield. Their contributions extend beyond our retail operations to encompass fundraising and care services. We rely on volunteers to assist with a wide range of tasks at the hospice, from welcoming patients and organizing activities to preparing home-cooked meals and providing transportation.

No matter your interest or expertise, we offer volunteer opportunities across all departments, including income generation, care services, facilities, and administration. Whether you’re an individual seeking meaningful involvement or a company looking to make a collective impact, we have roles that suit various interests and schedules. Additionally, we offer one-off volunteering projects for companies seeking to make a difference through group efforts over a day or two.

Below, you can hear directly from some of our volunteers. Remember, anyone can volunteer and make a significant difference in our community.
