Longfield has asked for furniture donations for its shops.
The organisation, which has 20 charity shops across the county of Gloucestershire is urgently calling for donations of good quality furniture such as tables, chairs, wardrobes, sofas etc. Unfortunately, we cannot take any beds or mattresses, upholstery without fire safety labels or faulty electrical items.
Without donations, the charity is in danger of running out of furniture, impacting the stores’ ability to raise funds to care for those facing life-limiting illnesses in Gloucestershire.
Laura Owen Head of Retail said: “If you’ve recently redecorated, had a clear out or moved house and have unwanted furniture taking up your valuable space, then why not donate your items to Longfield Hospice.”
If you have any good quality furniture you wish to donate you can either:
- take it to our Thrupp Furniture Shop (Unit D1, Kingfisher Business Park, London Road, Thrupp, Stroud GL5 2BY),
- take it to our Up Hatherley Shop (Unit 5-6 Morrisons Centre, Caernarvon Road, Cheltenham GL51 3BW),
- call our Warehouse Team on 01453 836715 to discuss and arrange free collection,
