This is hospice care
Leave a gift in your will and help protect hospice care for all, for now, forever
We’re here, when you need us, this is hospice care
At Longfield Community Hospice, we provide compassionate care at home for people living with a life-limiting condition, ensuring they receive support, comfort, and dignity at every stage of their journey from diagnosis. We cover the whole of Gloucestershire with our services – from Cam and Dursley to Tewkesbury, the borders of Cheltenham to the borders of the Forest of Dean. But we also provide Wellbeing services and bereavement support to patients, their families and carers. We are there to ensure you have the right care, at the right time, this is hospice care.
When someone is ill, it’s not just the patient who is affected. Life can be turned upside down for the family, friends, and carers too. That’s why we’re there for as long as you need us. And hospice care like this wouldn’t exist without people like you. That’s why we’re proud to be part of the National Hospice Legacy Campaign – a collaborative initiative bringing together 143 hospices across England, Scotland, and Wales to protect the future of hospice care for generations to come.
Hospice UK – This is Hospice Care campaign 2025
During the 14 day campaign a major TV Advert will go out across a raft of national TV channels to support Hospice Care and highlight 143 individual hospices – including Longfield. Here’s the TV AD.
We are proud to say that our former nurse Trizia will feature in social media posts and stories disseminated during the campaign – visit the Hospice UK micro site to see her warm and welcoming face. Meanwhile, we’ll be featuring the words of her sister Anna-Maria in a video during the campaign
Why Hospice Care Needs You
Hospice care is more than many people imagine. It’s not just about end-of-life support—it’s about helping people live well, supporting families, and offering comfort and dignity in life’s most challenging moments. Yet, hospice care is not fully funded by the NHS, and we rely on the generosity of our community to help us continue providing our services.
Longfield needs you
We’re so happy Trizia’s gift to her chosen hospice will continue to help people – it’s a fitting legacy for someone who always cared so much.
Your Legacy, Their Future, this is hospice care
Gifts in wills help hospices like Longfield fund vital services, from providing specialist nursing care to supporting families through bereavement. In fact, 1 in 4 patients in the UK receiving hospice care are supported through legacy donations.
Leaving a gift in your will to Longfield Community Hospice is a powerful way to ensure that compassionate care continues for generations.
