Cheltenham Mayor Opens A New Longfield Charity Shop in Coronation Square Cheltenham
30th January 2025
Local charity Longfield Community Hospice are excited to announce that they have launched a new charity shop in Coronation Square Cheltenham, to serve Hesters Way and beyond.
Opened on 27th January 2025 by the Mayor of Cheltenham Councillor Paul Baker, the staff at this store look forward to welcoming the local community.
Full to the brim with affordable second-hand clothing, accessories, electricals, music, books and homewares, this new charity shop in Coronation Square is the latest outlet for Longfield Community Hospice. Income from this shop will be used to provide much-needed free services for those facing life-limiting illnesses and their families, including a range of Wellbeing courses, Bereavement Counselling and Services and Hospice at Home palliative care.
Acting Head of Retail at Longfield, Lynne McMahon comments: “Opening a new charity shop in Coronation Square is an exciting development for our portfolio of shops.
This is a new location for us, and we are pleased to welcome the local community to our store. There will be something for everyone, and I am sure shoppers will be delighted by the value and range of goods on sale. The funds raised from the shop will help ensure Longfield Hospice can be there when it matters, for those needing support with a life-limiting illness.”
Together with the popular Bath Road, Pittville Street and Up Hatherley stores already in and around Cheltenham, Longfield Coronation Square is now accepting donated goods, is excited to welcome shop customers, and would love to welcome new volunteers to the team.
