Local hospice launches meditation and mindfulness course, Calm Connections for bereaved people
Longfield Community Hospice in Minchinhampton, near Stroud, has launched an inspiring new meditation and mindfulness course for people who are grieving.
Calm Connections is a short course which introduces individuals to the practice of seated meditation and mindfulness to support the grieving process.

“The death of someone we love is one of the hardest things we can face. Practising meditation and mindfulness can help us through the shockwaves of grief and encourage long term healing.”

Other information: Participants must be 18 or over, registered with a GP in Gloucestershire, and have been bereaved for more than eight weeks.
