Gifts in Kind

Gifts in Kind can save Longfield Community Hospice a huge amount of money, helping by reducing our operating and fundraising costs. This ensures that we can spend more of our funds on delivering expert care and support to those that need it most within Gloucestershire.

Your gifts add real value. From raffle prizes, to equipment for our Hospice at Home nurses, there are plenty of ways we can benefit from your donated items.

Items for our fundraising events

When running events, we often need items for goodie bags. It’s important that our supporters can celebrate once they’ve completed their events, so bottles of fizz are always welcome!

Raffle and auction prizes

We run several raffles and auctions in a year whereby we need good quality, new items such as holiday breaks, televisions or gift voucher donations which make incredible prizes and help to save costs. This means that more of our supporters’ money can go directly towards the care we provide throughout the community.

Equipment for our Hospice at Home nurses

Our nurses need to be well equipped to provide our vital Hospice at Home services. Mobile phones, tablets and even a pool car are things that would make a huge difference to the team.

Equipment for our Art Therapy

We need stained glass materials, painting supplies, charcoal and clay so our patients have all they need to express themselves through our specialist Art for Health courses.

Ingredients for our Kitchen

We pride ourselves on cooking wholesome, nutritious meals and snacks for people visiting our Day Hospice,  from our kitchen here on site. Store gift cards or voucher donations help us stock our kitchen according to our patients’ dietary needs.

Tombola Prizes

We have many supporter groups throughout Gloucestershire who run events all year round. They are always happy to receive donations for tombola prizes such as beauty products, food hampers, children’s toys, homeware or gift vouchers.
