Other Ways to Support in Memory
Getting a group of people together and taking part in a fundraising event is a great way to spend time with friends and relatives who had an impact on your loved one’s life, while raising money in their memory.
By getting involved in one of our up-and-coming fundraisers, or organising your own event or inspiring challenge, you can make a real difference to someone living with a life-limiting illness and their families.
Organise your own event or challenge
Perhaps you’d like to celebrate the life of a loved one by organising your own event to fundraise your way? Whether you fundraise from home and hold a virtual afternoon tea, arrange a fancy-dress day with your work colleagues, or take on an annual night walk. Do something out of the ordinary, or organise something your loved one enjoyed doing? The possibilities are endless.
Are you up for the challenge of a lifetime? Choose an inspiring or thrill-seeking challenge personal to you and dedicate the funds you raise in memory of your loved one. Ever thought you could jump out of a plane or run marathon distance? Maybe it’s time to give your wildest dreams a go!
For ideas on your events or challenges, the Fundraising Team are happy to help. You can reach us on 01453 886868 or email [email protected].
Regular Giving
If you would like to support the future of the hospice, you may like to consider donating to Longfield on a regular basis, in memory of someone special. If a monthly gift is chosen, you have the opportunity to display a name of your choice on the Wall of Hearts in the centre of the hospice for a year too.
