As you may be aware, there is a nationwide outage of all Advanced Healthcare Systems. Advanced recently experienced a disruption to their systems as a result of a cybersecurity incident affecting NHS 111. As a precaution, to avoid risk to other critical systems and services, access to the company’s services from the HSC (Health and Social Care system) has been disabled while the incident is contained.

Unfortunately, we are one of the affected organisations as we currently use Crosscare. As a result, we have no access to our Electronic Patient Record System and therefore no access to previous assessment notes. Sadly, this is an issue out of our control. If you are aware of anyone currently expecting to receive services from Longfield, please urge them to contact us as we currently don’t have access to their contact details.

Please be assured that we’re working as usual to provide our services – the attack has had minimal impact on our day-to-day operations, both in the hospice and the community. However, we are concerned if people were expecting to hear from us. We are currently trying to retrieve deleted emails from previous email referrals which will help us with names, contact details, and clinical information.
