Discover the hidden gardens of Frampton on Severn
On Sunday 25 May 2025 from 1:30pm to 5pm, Frampton on Severn in Stroud is hosting an Open Gardens event in aid of Longfield Community Hospice.
The annual event is an opportunity for locals and visitors to explore the hidden gardens of this picturesque Cotswold Village. Around ten gardens will be open, all within a short stroll from each other. Plenty of free parking is available and delicious creams teas will be available on the day. There will also be a classic car show on the village green.
Tickets cost just £5 per adult, children under 12 are free and can be purchased on the day. Dogs on leads are welcome.
The gardens vary from formal to rambling cottage plots. Add this to the beauty of the village itself with its extensive village green – said to be the longest in England – ancient architecture, and canal walks, and you’re guaranteed a great family day out.
“This event is a wonderful way to connect with nature and explore beautiful gardens in the Severn Vale, whilst also raising vital funds for Longfield Community Hospice,” says organiser Bob Roberts “Longfield provides care and support for people across Gloucestershire whose lives have been turned upside down by a life-limiting diagnosis. So, your day out will help Longfield reach more local families in urgent need.”
This event is supported by The Rotary Club of Severn Vale. Tickets available on the day. For more information, email [email protected]
