Being in Nature
This course is a six week programme of weekly classes
Discover the healing power of being in nature with our outdoor wellbeing program, created specifically for individuals living with life-limiting conditions. Embracing the outdoors offers a gentle yet effective way to support both physical and mental health through tailored activities including ecology walks, arts and crafts, and meditative nature-based practices.
Why Being in Nature Matters
Spending time in natural surroundings can improve cardiovascular health, boost the immune system, support better sleep, and encourage gentle movement. Nature also reduces stress, uplifts mood, and helps restore cognitive focus. Activities like creative crafting and nature journaling inspire emotional balance, creativity, and a sense of achievement.
Connect, Create, and Grow
Our program not only enhances personal wellbeing but also builds community. Whether it’s joining a group nature walk or contributing to a community garden, you’ll feel more connected and supported.
