Help us give miles more care across Gloucestershire

Every day of the year – including Christmas Day – we travel miles across Gloucestershire to care for terminally ill people in the comfort of their own homes. Our Hospice at Home service is completely free and urgently needed. Without us, many local families would feel isolated and alone during some of the hardest days and nights imaginable.

We visit most of our patients three times each day, and overnight too if needed. Our specialist nurses and healthcare assistants travel to homes in Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cirencester and beyond. Our hospice care covers 400 square miles of the county, so you can imagine how quickly our petrol costs mount up.

That’s why we’re so excited about this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge – the UK’s largest match funding campaign. For one week only, from 28 November to 5 December 2023, your donations via the Big Give website will be doubled – at no extra cost to you!

Donate £10, we’ll get £20. Give £50 and we’ll receive £100.

That’s one donation, twice the impact!

We’ve got seven days to smash our target of £4,500, which equals £9,000 for Longfield. That would cover the cost of travelling to an additional 51 patients, multiple times a day, for as long as we’re needed.

Will you help us reach families in urgent need of hospice care – this Christmas and beyond?
