Education & Training

Through the provision of high-quality learning and development, the Education & Training department aims to improve the quality of palliative and end-of-life care and support provided by Longfield staff and volunteers and other care providers.

The Education & Training department’s mission is to:

• Equip staff and volunteers with the required knowledge, skills and competencies to carry out their duties
• Provide learning and development opportunities to the wider health & social care workforce so they have the right knowledge and skills
• Share our specialist knowledge, skills and best practice
• Ensure that education and training is based on current research, guidance and legislation
