Steaming Volunteer

Time Commitment: Regular commitment, agreed with the E-Commerce Manager

Location: Brimscombe, Stroud

Help donated clothing look its very best before it’s sold online. We’re looking for Steaming Volunteers to prepare garments and textiles to a high standard, helping maximise their appeal and value.

In this role, you’ll steam clothing, check items for presentation, identify any defects and prepare garments ready for photography. You’ll help maintain a tidy workspace and ensure every item is presented professionally before it reaches our online customers. Your support helps generate more income for Longfield Community Hospice while giving quality donated clothing a second life.

This flexible role is ideal for someone with good attention to detail who enjoys practical tasks and takes pride in presenting items beautifully. No previous experience is needed, and full training will be provided.
