An exciting opportunity to join Longfield Community Hospices’ team, in this thriving multi-site charity retail business. We are seeking a creative and experienced Retail Area Manager who will support in the shaping of our retail strategy, improving operations and driving growth.

Reporting into the Head of Retail you will work collaboratively to deliver the Retail strategy to increase profitability and financial contribution to the Hospice. Longfield is a community hospice charity, in a beautiful setting near Stroud.  We believe that everyone touched by a life-limiting illness in Gloucestershire should benefit from free hospice care. We also provide support to their families and carers, including bereavement counselling.

We offer a competitive benefits package which includes flexible working, 33 days holiday, increasing to 38 days with long service, Life Assurance, a pension scheme or the option to continue the NHS Superannuation pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work, a Purchase of Annual Leave scheme and access to discounts through the Blue Light scheme.

Longfield Hospice is a truly wonderful place to work, and we are proud of our modern, purpose-built facilities, fantastic grounds, friendly culture and amazing staff and volunteers.  Longfield is a well-regarded charity, which makes a genuine difference to lives and deaths across the county.
