Join us for a heartwarming day of community, celebration, and support at Walk for Longfield, our annual sponsored walk helping raise vital funds for Longfield Community Hospice. Set in the beautiful Minchinhampton countryside, this family friendly event invites supporters of all ages to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and walk in honour, memory, or support of loved ones.  

After completing your chosen Walk for Longfield walking route, step into our vibrant Summer Fête, enjoy delicious food and refreshments, browse artisan stalls, take part in fun games, and soak up the festival atmosphere with live music and family activities. Whether you’re walking for a cause close to your heart, enjoying a summer’s day out, or discovering more about Longfield’s work in the community, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.  

If Walk for Longfield isn’t for you, you’re warmly invited to join us just for the day! Come along, explore the Summer Fête, and enjoy all the fun while supporting the hospice in your own way. Please note you do not require a ticket to enjoy the Summer Fête and dogs are welcome.   

Every step you take at Walk for Longfield and every moment you spend in the Summer Fête helps us continue providing free, compassionate care for patients and families across Gloucestershire.

Dog Friendly – all dogs to be kept on leads

Tickets include T-shirt, strawberries & Cream, a drink & participation certificate. Please note we do not have children’s T-shirt sizes, please choose a small

• Dedicated fundraising support from our Events team to help you reach your Target!

Why your support matters:  

We provide free-of-charge Hospice at Home, Counselling, Bereavement Support, and Living Well Services to individuals across Gloucestershire facing a life-limiting diagnosis. We could not provide this support when it matters most without the support from the community.  

£50 could help towards three Complementary Therapy Sessions 

£60 could pay for an hour of counselling 

£66 could help towards an hour of Hospice at Home palliative care
