Experience the journey of a lifetime as you Trek Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world – all in support of Longfield Community Hospice, with our partner, Discover Adventure.  

Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent at 5,895m. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally in the most unforgettable way. 

By taking on this extraordinary challenge, you’ll be helping Longfield provide vital, free-of-charge care and support to people across Gloucestershire living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families. Every step you take up Kilimanjaro helps ensure compassionate hospice care is there when it’s needed most.

Trek Kilimanjaro Event information

payment options (Choose from 2):

1) Full fundraising option 

We pay for your trip- you raise a min sponsorship

Booking deposit: £499 today paid to our partner Discover adventure 

Minimum sponsorship: £5,600 is due approximately 10 weeks before departure, with 50% of the fundraising total benefiting Longfield. 

2) Full payment option 

Self-funded and you raise what you can for the charity  

Booking deposit: £499 today paid to our partner Discover adventure and £2,800 due approx. 10 weeks before departures to Discover Adventure.  

No Minimum sponsorship – simply raise what you can.

• Return flights from London to Moshi

We provide free-of-charge Hospice at Home, Counselling, Bereavement Support, and Living Well Services to individuals across Gloucestershire facing a life-limiting diagnosis. We could not provide this support, when it matters most, without the support from the community, as 85% of our funding is from fundraising activities and donations. Consider supporting us today.
