Will you brave the elements for your local community hospice? Why not take on our coolest challenge ever, walking over razor sharp glass known as an Ice Walk?
Why not do something different this year with your friends, family or colleagues at our Ice Walk? Whether it’s already on your bucket list or something you’ve never considered doing before it’s the coolest way to support your local community hospice
Fearless fundraisers are offered the ultimate challenge of walking bravely over hundreds of pieces of sterilised broken bottles, navigating razor sharp shards at every step in the guidance and safety of professionals! It may sound tricky but it’s perfectly safe.
Ice Walkers – What happens on the day?
As an Ice Walker, you will receive full training before the challenge. During this time you’ll be motivated and build the confidence to complete the challenge. Then it will be time for you to take to the glass.
Upon finishing, you’ll be awarded a coveted medal, and shortly after the event, we will send you a certificate to celebrate your fundraising achievement; a small memento of our gratitude.
The Ice Walk and training session is organised and conducted by UK Fire Walk, one of the UK’s leading Fire & Glass Walk companies. So don’t worry, you’ll be in safe hands!

How do I register?
There is a £25 registration fee and we ask you to pledge to raise £75 or more in sponsorship for Longfield to help raise funds for our vital hospice care.
If you don’t want to fundraise you can enter for a one off payment of £60.
